I was so honoured when Blaire asked me to be her and Tyler’s wedding photographer. Blaire and I were coworkers back when I was a labour and delivery nurse, and she actually was the nurse that helped bring my son Owen into this world. I think it is so incredibly special that we both will be a part of such milestones in each other’s lives.

We decided on Fort Whyte for the engagements session, and due to extremely bad luck we got one of the coldest days of the year. With this couple consisting of two shift workers, we kept the day and I am so happy we did.

These two snuggled up (partially due to necessity for warmth) and laughed together the majority of the session. And can we just take a moment please to appreciate the gorgeous vintage coat Blaire is wearing! I am so grateful she shopped in her future mother in law’s closet just before the session because that coat is EVERYTHING!
